barton

"...I want that Barton Fink feeling..." whispers the head honcho at Capitol Pictures.  He'd never guess what he really gets.  This movie is right up there with Fargo.  It might not be good for some people, but for me it rocks.  It is a very visual movie that cinematically expresses feelings, thoughts, and other inferences.  Some might find it hard to watch.  Me, I couldn't take my eyes off of it.  (But I had to see it twice to really get it.)  Now enter the world of a tormented writer, and realize how much there is to not understand.

Yet another film by the genius minds of Joel and Ethan Coen.

They won some cool awards at the Cannes Film Festival in 1991 for this one.

Experience the movie from a different perspective: by reading the script.  I transposed it all for you to read.  Enjoy, and mail comments to me.  (Do it, cause it's a great script)

If you've seen the movie, and don't especially understand it that much, then read this.  It'll really help you to go back (with the script) and understand.
